Twenty20 World Cup warm-up match between Bangladesh and South Africa at Allan Border Field, Brisbane has been abandoned due to persistent rain on Wednesday.

Bangladesh lost their first warm-up game against Afghanistan by 62 runs while chasing 161 runs set by Afghanistan. 

The Tigers will begin their World Cup campaign against Group A runner-up from the group stage at Bellerive Oval in Hobart on October 24.

Bangladesh are placed with South Africa, India, Pakistan and two qualifiers.
