ACC conducts second raid on BCB within a month

Before the opening Test of a two-match series between Bangladesh and the West Indies in Antigua, it's still unclear whether Tigers fans will be able to watch the games live on television.
Concerns grew as no TV channel officially bought the broadcast rights to the series, in which Bangladesh would play two Tests in the Caribbean as part of the ICC Test Championship, three T20Is, and three ODIs.

According to Tanvir Ahmed Titu, head of the Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB) media committee, the board can only hope that one of the two local TV stations, T Sports or Gazi TV, will agree to broadcast the games.

"To be honest, we are hoping that somehow we will be able to watch the games live on TV. As I previously said, we have hardly anything to do officially since the broadcasting depends on the initiatives taken by the host board. We are still hoping if things change at the last moment and if that happens, it won't be an issue to watch the games on TV," Titu told the media on Wednesday.
According to the BCB director, the board will have little to do because everything will be up to the administration of the individual TV stations.
"It actually depends on the TV channels and those who are involved in the management. I can't comment on this. What I know is given the enthusiasm and the love towards cricket from the Bangladeshi supporters, it won't be an issue to find a sponsor," he said.
The West Indies-Bangladesh Test series starting from tomorrow [Thursday] has been named the 'Padma Bridge Dream Fulfilled Test Series'.
