Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Wednesday announced the itinerary and venues for the upcoming tour against Bangladesh.
The tour will consist of three One-Day International and two-match Test series across four venues from 18 March to 12 April 2022.
SuperSport Park will host two of the ODI matches, with the third taken by the Imperial Wanderers, while the coastal cities of Durban and Geerah will take on the Test fixtures.
The tour is part of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League and the second ICC World Test Championship.
This will be Bangladesh’s fourth tour to the country and the first since their visit in September-October 2017.
Bangladesh’s record in South Africa is abysmal as they have played 19 matches there across the three formats and have suffered a defeat on each occasion.
ODI Series:
1st ODI- SuperSport Park, Centurion, Friday, 18 March
2nd ODI- Imperial Wanderers, Sunday, 20 March
3rd ODI- SuperSport Park, Centurion, Wednesday, 23 March
Test Series:
1st Test-Hollywoodbets Kingsmead, Durban, Thursday, 31 March
2nd Test- St. George’s Park Cricket Ground, Gqeberha, Friday, 08 April
