Naim Sheikh was not in the squad for the first two ODIs of the series as the selectors have included the left-arm opener in the squad for the third ODI. The squad of 15 people has been increased to 16 people. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the matter in a statement on Wednesday.
The selectors announced a 15-man squad for the first two ODIs before the start of the ODI series. Naim was on standby. Despite being disappointed in the first two ODIs, the selectors kept Liton Das in the squad. Besides, Mohammad Mithun is also in the team. Although Liton played in two matches, Mithun got a chance only in the first ODI.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh has confirmed the series against Sri Lanka with one match in hand. Tamim Iqbal's team will take on the visitors for whitewash on Friday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
