Kolkata Knight Riders are the two-time champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as Shakib Al Hasan was a member of the Kolkata team, who won the 2012 and 2014 IPL titles. The Tiger all-rounder then played for Sunrisers Hyderabad for a few seasons. Kolkata has taken Shakib in the team again from the auction of this year's event. It was there that he got Indian veteran Harbhajan Singh as a teammate for the first time.
The former India spinner has rated the southpaw as a legendary cricketer. Harbhajan said it is a real pleasure to share a dressing room with a man like Shakib.
“Shakib is a champion cricketer. He has contributed a lot to his country. He has done well for other teams in the IPL. It is really a pleasure to share the dressing room with a legend from Bangladesh. It is also enjoyable to be with great people like him. I am hopeful that not only in IPL but also for his country he will do well in the future” said Harbhajan.
