Shakib replaces Mitchell for Lahore Qalandars
15 May 25The sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to start from February 20. However, cricketers like Chris Gayle and Colin Munro will not play in this tournament. They will not play mainly due to international schedule and quarantine deadlines. Apart from Gayle-Munro, three other cricketers have been replaced.
The teams have announced the names of cricketers who have withdrawn their names Chris Jordan, Reech Topley and Liam Livingstone. Gayle was scheduled to play for Quetta Gladiators this season. Later, Quetta picked South Africa's Faf du Plessis as his replacement as he could not come. Du Plessis represented Peshawar Zalmi last season.

Munro may have to face quarantine complications, while returning to the country at the end of the PSL. As a result, the Kiwi cricketer has already withdrawn from the tournament. This Kiwi top order batsman is not playing for PSL Islamabad United due to the prevailing Covid-19 related managed isolation space challenges.
