Mehidy Hasan Miraz became the fastest and youngest Bangladesh spinner to take 100 wickets in Test cricket as Miraz has left behind Shakib Al Hasan and Taijul Islam. He achieved this feat by dismissing West Indies batsman Shayne Moseley in the second innings of the Dhaka Test.
Miraz took only 24 matches to take the 100th wicket. Taijul played 25 matches to take the 100th wicket. While, Shakib 27 matches. Besides, Mohammad Rafique took 100 wickets in 33 matches. Not only that, Miraz became the fourth spinner to take 100 wickets at a young age.

He achieved this feat at the age of only 23 years and 111 days. He is followed by Pakistan's spinner Saqlain Mostaq, India's Harbhajan Singh and New Zealand's Daniel Vettori. At just 21 years and 48 days old, Vettori is the youngest to take 100 wickets
Then there is Harbhajan. He was 21 years and 319 days old when he took his 100 wickets. And number in three Saqlain Mushtaq took the same number of wickets at the age of 22 years 325 days.
