IPL authorities have released the list of cricketers registered for the 2021 IPL on Friday. The auction for this year's edition of (IPL) will be held on February 18. A total of 1,097 cricketers have registered for the auction. Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has returned to IPL auction and enlisted with the high base price.
Shakib is one of 11 players to be listed at the highest base price of INR 2 crore. In addition to this Tiger all-rounder, there are 10 other cricketers in this category.
Other cricketers in this category are Harbhajan Singh, Glenn Maxwell, Kedar Jadhav, Steven Smith, Moeen Ali, Sam Billings, Liam Plunkett, Jason Roy, Mark Wood and Colin Ingram.

About 814 are from India and 283 foreign cricketers have registered for the auction. Five of the Bangladeshi cricketers have submitted their names. However, they did not disclose the names of the five cricketers except Shakib.
According to the IPL authorities on Friday, there are 207 uncapped and 863 capped have registered for this year.
Of the uncapped cricketers, 743 are Indians. In addition, 68 foreign uncapped cricketers have submitted their names for the IPL auction.
The West Indies have registered the most about 56 cricketers. In addition, 42 Australian cricketers have submitted their names.
There will be 38 cricketers from South Africa, 31 from Sri Lanka, 30 from Afghanistan, 29 from New Zealand, 21 from England, 9 from the United Arab Emirates, 8 from Nepal and 7 from Scotland.
Two cricketers from Ireland, United States and Zimbabwe have also registered for the IPL auction. In addition, there is 1 cricketer from the Netherlands.
