Tamim, Mushfiq in A+ catergory

Mushfiqur Rahim and Tamim Iqbal Khan are in A+ category of both white ball and red ball contract of BCBs new central contract.

Bangladesh Cricket Board announced new central contract list on this Sunday, March 8. Where Mahmudullah, Soumya Sarkar and Mustafizur Rahman is axed from the red ball cricket but is included in the white ball cricket. Because of BCB blunder Soumya was out of this new contract but now he is in the A+ category of white ball cricket.

This is the first time BCB made a separate list for both white and red ball cricket. Players like Shakib Al Hasan, Imrul Kayes and former ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Morataza is not in the contract list. Also young players like Najmul Hossain Shanto, Ebadot Hossain, Afif Hossain and Naim Sheikh are new in the central contract list.

Players in Category A stand to earn a little over BDT 600,000 per month, while the players in Category D will get BDT 100,000 per month, with B and C players figuring in between.

BCB also has raised match fees for all three formats earlier this year. A Test match appearance will now bring a player BDT 600,000 a straight jump from BDT 350,000. For playing an ODI and T20I they will now get BDT 300,000 and BDT 200,000.

The new contract list is made on A+, A, B,C and D categories.

Category A+ White Ball Cricket:

Mushfiqur Rahim, Tamim Iqbal Khan, Mahmudullah, Soumya Sarkar.

Category B White Ball Cricket:

Liton Kumar Das, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mustafizur Rahman.
