Bangladesh all-rounder Mahmudullah Riad is not bowling his off-spin now due to his shoulder injury. He didn't bowl in the World Cup and in the tri-nation series. Its expected that he will play only as a batsman in the Sri Lanka series.  

But another all-rounder Mosaddek Hossain has filled up the void of Mahmudullah. He bowled well in the World Cup and in the tri-series in absence of Mahmudullah.  

Mosaddek has bowled miserly and also provided important breakthrough to the team when it was required. Mosaddek also contributed to Bangladesh with the bat too. He also wants to the same in the Sri Lanka series. Mosaddek believes the absence of Mahmudullah in the bowling department gives him more opportunity to shine with the ball.

" After starting my international cricket career in every match I have contributed with the ball. When Riad Bhai [ Mahmudullah] bowled then also I bowled 5-6 overs," Mosaddek said.  

" I didn't think in that way that Riad Bhai [ Mahmudullah] isn't there. As Riad bhai isn't there I am getting more chances to bowl. If I think in that way then I will aggravate as an all-rounder," Mosaddek added.
