Bangladesh batting all-rounder Mosaddek Hossain is working on to improve his strike rate. He said that on Thursday at Mirpur stadium while preparing for the Sri Lanka ODI series later this month.

" Before the World Cup and also during the premier league I was totally focusing on improving my strike rate. when I will go on to bat I may face the same type of situation. if the situation is bad then I have to bat well and propel my team forward. so, I am working on that. what I will do in good situations and also in bad situations. I am working on this mainly." Mosaddek said.

And Mossadek's hard work has been paying off. He has established himself at the number seven position of the Bangladesh team. Mosaddek has played on the number seven position since coming back to the national team on the back of good domestic league performance. He has played some good cameos in this position since coming back. His 52 runs innings from 27 balls against West Indies in the Tri-series final was crucial for Bangladesh to win their first-ever tri-nation trophy.     

His strike rate was 182.59 in the Tri-nation series. He also played some good innings in the World Cup. He scored 26 runs from 20 balls against South Africa, 26 from 16 against England and 25 runs from 24 balls against Afghanistan.  

Mosaddek knew if he had to bat at number seven position he will have to improve his strike rate and he has been working on that since the premier league.
