Bangladesh Premier League T20 franchise Khulna Titans have signed former Australia captain and all-rounder Shane Watson as one of its two direct overseas signings for the upcoming BPL 2019-20. The Australia cricketer will be available for full season of BPL T20 with the Titans.

“Khulna Titans is excited to have Shane Watson join the franchise. He is a true champion, having won many titles for his country and the franchise teams he has represented around the world. His experience and his winning mentality will contribute significantly to the team. Hopefully Shane will propel us to the title that we have been working so hard for,” said Khulna Titans Managing Director Kazi Inam Ahmed on occasion of having confirmed Watson’s availability for the BPL next.

Meanwhile, Watson sharing his excitement of having joined the Titans said, “I am super excited to join the Khulna Titans for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League season. The BPL is a tournament that I have always wanted to play in and now I finally get my chance. There are so many great cricketers playing in the BPL from the local Bangladesh stars to the overseas superstars, so it is going to be very special to finally be a part of it.”
