However, Test captain Najmul Hossain Shanto will not travel with the team at this stage as he returns home from Japan after being ruled out of the Asian Games due to illness.
According to the itinerary, Bangladesh’s first group will arrive in the UAE on October 1, with practice scheduled in Dubai on October 2 and 3.
The team will then play a two-day practice match against the UAE on October 4 and 5 before moving to Abu Dhabi.
The second group is scheduled to arrive from Japan on October 6, after which the Bangladesh squad will begin preparations for the one-off Test against Afghanistan.
The Test is scheduled for October 9-13 at Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Bangladesh will then take part in the three-nation ODI series, with their first match against Zimbabwe on October 17, followed by Afghanistan vs Zimbabwe on October 19 and Afghanistan vs Bangladesh on October 21. The final is scheduled for October 23 in Sharjah.
Shanto, who was named captain of Bangladesh's 15-member Test squad, has been suffering from persistent fever since arriving in Nagoya for the Asian Games.
The Bangladesh Test squad was announced before the Asian Games, with Shanto leading a side that also includes Tanzid Hasan, Shadman Islam, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, Litton Das, Towhid Hridoy, Jaker Ali, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Taijul Islam, Hasan Mahmud, Khaled Ahmed, Ebadot Hossain and Shoriful Islam.
