The trophy for the three-match T20I series between Bangladesh and the West Indies was unveiled on Sunday at the scenic and historic Central Railway Building (CRB) premises in Chattogram.

Bangladesh captain Litton Das and West Indies skipper Shai Hope jointly revealed the trophy in a ceremony held in front of the East Zone Railway headquarters.

As part of a collaboration with the Bangladesh Tourism Board, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has introduced the tradition of unveiling series trophies at notable and heritage sites across the country.

Earlier, the ODI series trophy was unveiled at Dhaka’s Lalbagh Fort, while in previous years, similar events took place at the tea gardens of Sylhet. Continuing that trend, the century-old CRB grounds were chosen this time to highlight Chattogram’s cultural and historical significance.

Following the unveiling, both captains took part in a photo session, posing with the trophy in front of one of CRB’s vintage railway engines, adding a touch of nostalgia to the moment.

The T20I series will kick off on Monday at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, with the remaining two matches scheduled for October 29 and 31.

All matches will begin at 6:30 PM local time.
