In the first ODI at Mirpur, West Indies fielded three spinners, all-rounder Roston Chase, Gudakesh Motie, and Khary Pierre. For the next game, they are set to include experienced left-arm spinner Akeal Hosein in the squad.
The 32-year-old was not part of the original ODI lineup, but team sources have confirmed that he will arrive in Dhaka on Monday night to join the side. In addition, left-arm pacer Ramon Simmonds has earned his maiden ODI call-up.
The 24-year-old pacer has previously represented the West Indies in two T20 internationals. Meanwhile, Jedaiah Blades and Shamar Joseph, who were part of the ODI squad, will return to the Caribbean.
Bangladesh have also made one change earlier in the series, adding in-form left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed to bolster their spin attack.
