The ICC has reprimanded Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf and opener Sahibzada Farhan for breaching the Code of Conduct during the September 21 India-Pakistan Super Four match in Dubai.

Rauf was fined part of his match fee for mimicking a crashing plane, while Farhan was cautioned for celebrating his half-century by wielding his bat like a gun. Both actions were reported by the BCCI as political gestures linked to India-Pakistan hostilities.

At the hearing, overseen by ICC officials Richie Richardson and Sally Higgins, both players pleaded guilty and were issued Level 1 sanctions. Pakistan team manager Naveed Cheema was also present.

Separately, Suryakumar Yadav has been found guilty by the ICC of breaching the code of conduct for his comments that alluded to the military skirmish between India and Pakistan, after their group match in the Asia Cup on September 14.

According to reports, India captain's not-guilty plea was rejected by ICC match referee Richie Richardson and that he was fined 30% of his match fee, while India have appealed against the verdict.

These disciplinary actions have added heat to the already intense rivalry, as India and Pakistan prepare to face off for the third time in the tournament, in the Asia Cup final on Sunday (September 28).
