The tournament will kick off on November 17 in Rawalpindi, where the first two matches are scheduled. The remaining fixtures, including the final on November 29, will take place at Lahore’s iconic Gaddafi Stadium.
The three teams will face each other twice in a round-robin format, with the top two sides advancing to the final. In total, the competition will feature seven matches.
This marks the second time in the ongoing season that Pakistan has converted a bilateral T20 series into a tri-nation event. Just last month, Pakistan’s planned T20I series in the UAE was expanded into a tri-series with the inclusion of the host nation.
Similarly, Sri Lanka were originally scheduled to play three ODIs and three T20Is in Pakistan. While the T20Is have now been turned into the tri-nation series, the ODI series remains on the agenda, with its schedule expected to be announced soon.
