Pakistan notched their second consecutive victory in the T20I tri-nation series with a 31-run win over UAE at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

Batting first, Pakistan were bowled out for 207 in 20 overs.

Saim Ayub top-scored with a blistering 69 off 38 balls, while Hasan Nawaz smashed 56 off 26 deliveries. Mohammad Nawaz added a quick 25, but Saghir Khan (3/32) and Junaid Siddique (2/30) kept Pakistan in check.

Chasing 208, UAE put up a spirited fight but managed only 176-8. Asif Khan led the resistance with a dazzling 77 off 35 balls, hitting six sixes and six fours, while captain Muhammad Waseem contributed 33.

However, Pakistan’s bowlers, led by Hasan Ali (3/47) and Mohammad Nawaz (2/21), held their nerve to seal a convincing win.

With this result, Pakistan strengthened their position in the tri-nation tournament, making it two wins from two matches.
