The series will take place in the United Arab Emirates in early October and will feature both ODI and T20I formats, with three matches in each format — a total of six games.
The series will be held right after the Asia Cup, which is also scheduled in the UAE from September 9 to 28, featuring eight teams in the T20 format. Bangladesh and Afghanistan are set to face each other in the ‘B’ Group match on September 16 during the tournament.
According to an ACB press release, the bilateral series will kick off with the first T20I on October 2, followed by the second and third matches on October 3 and 5, respectively.
The ODI series will then begin on October 8, with the remaining two matches scheduled for October 11 and 14.
Expressing excitement about the series, ACB Chief Executive Naseeb Khan said, “We are proud to host a series against Bangladesh. This tour highlights the strength of our mutual relations and reaffirms our commitment to delivering world-class cricket, even at neutral venues.”
