The West Indies produced a near-perfect performance to dismantle Pakistan by a massive 202-run margin in the deciding third ODI, clinching the series 2-1.

Led by a majestic century from captain Shai Hope and a devastating six-wicket haul from Jayden Seales, the Caribbean side dominated from start to finish in a contest that left Pakistan without answers.

After being put in to bat, West Indies posted a commanding 294/6 in their 50 overs. The innings revolved around skipper Hope’s unbeaten 120 off 94 balls, a knock that showcased his trademark calm early on and calculated aggression later.
Opening partner Brandon King (58) provided early momentum before falling in the third over to Naseem Shah. Contributions from Evin Lewis (37) and Justin Greaves (43*) ensured West Indies never lost control.
Pakistan’s bowlers struggled for breakthroughs in the middle overs, with only Abrar Ahmed (2/32) and Naseem Shah (2/72) enjoying moderate success. The Windies scored heavily in the death overs, plundering more than 100 runs in the last 10 to set Pakistan an imposing target.

If Pakistan harbored hopes of a chase, they were shattered within the first three overs. Seales bowled with relentless pace and movement, removing Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique cheaply before dismissing captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan in quick succession.

At 23/4, the visitors were in complete disarray. Seales returned to remove tailender Naseem and Hasan Ali, finishing with career-best ODI figures of 6/18 in 7.2 overs — a spell that will be remembered as one of the finest in recent West Indies history.
Left-arm spinner Gudakesh Motie (2/37) and all-rounder Roston Chase (1/16) tightened the noose in the middle overs. Salman Agha (30) and Mohammad Nawaz (23*) were the only Pakistan batters to reach double figures, underlining the dominance of the West Indies attack.
The innings ended at 92 all out in 29.2 overs, handing West Indies their largest-ever ODI victory against Pakistan by runs.
Just months ago, the West Indies endured a humiliating defeat to Australia in a pink-ball Test. They also lost the preceding T20I series to Pakistan. But this ODI series has offered redemption, with the hosts showing discipline, resilience, and flair to secure a famous win.
