According to widespread report, Australian Pacer Mitchell Starc is going to be out of the first Test of Ashes series.

 From the five pacers of the Aussie squad, three pacers are fighting for the position while Pat Cummins and James Pattinson are almost certain to start in the first Test. Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and veteran Peter Siddle are fighting for the only vacant spot. 

“Starcy, Peter Siddle and Josh Hazlewood (are fighting) for one spot. All three are great or very, very good bowlers aren’t they?” Australian Coach Langer is quoted by Fox Cricket.

Another Australian legend Allan Border believes Strac has quick pace and can take wickets but he can also be very expensive when things aren't going for him. He thinks it will be appropriate for Australia to go with Hazlewood or Siddle instead of Starc because of their accuracy.  
“Someone like Starc can go through bursts with great pace and can get wickets quickly but can be very expensive when it’s not working, so maybe there’s a new thought process to go for Siddle or Hazlewood because of their accuracy," said Border to foxsports.com.au.  

Few days ago, Australian skipper Tim Paine also said Strac needs some time to get back to the perfect line and length for the red ball cricket after playing so many ODI's recently. Despite being in lethal form in the World Cup, where he took 27 wickets, most by any bowler in the World Cup, Starc is very likely to find himself out of the first Test of Ashes.
