The 10-over tournament could also see veteran Bangladesh all-rounder Mahmudullah Riyad join the same franchise. Sources indicate that the Vancouver Kings are interested in signing the former Bangladesh captain, although no deal has been finalized yet.
If the move goes through, the long-time Bangladesh teammates will reunite at franchise level. Mustafizur and Mahmudullah have shared the dressing room for years across all three international formats and have also featured together in several franchise leagues around the world.
