Midway through the tournament, Rajshahi have signed him directly on a contract. Burl can be considered a familiar face in the BPL.
He played for Durbar Rajshahi in the previous season, where he scored 293 runs in 11 matches at a strike rate of 146.50 and also picked up seven wickets with the ball.
In the two seasons prior to that, Burl represented the Sylhet Sixers. He made his BPL debut in the 2019–20 season with the Chattogram Challengers. Overall, he has scored 571 runs in the BPL.
With the ball, he has taken 11 wickets so far in the tournament. Rajshahi have been in good form in the ongoing BPL season, winning two of their three matches. With four points, Najmul Hossain Shanto’s side currently sit at the top of the points table.
