Charles, who previously played five BPL seasons for four different teams, will represent Noakhali for the first time. He has scored 906 runs in 34 matches with a strike rate of 142.22, including two centuries and four half-centuries, and has won two BPL titles.
Earlier, Noakhali also signed Sri Lankan wicketkeeper-batter Kusal Mendis.
Despite being a regular in PSL, IPL, LPL, and SA20, this will be Mendis’ debut BPL season. Negotiations with Sylhet Titans reportedly fell through, leading him to finalize terms with Noakhali.
Khaled Mahmud Sujon will serve as the team’s head coach. Using the pre-auction direct signing rule, Noakhali secured two local players, Soumya Sarkar and Hasan Mahmud.
