The agreement was formalized after a meeting between Dhaka Capitals CEO Atik Fahad and Anik Akanda, Strategic Partner of Anchor Sports and Founder of the Stockholm Hunters Cricket Association.
Under this collaboration, Anchor Sports becomes the official European player pool partner of Dhaka Capitals. The partnership focuses on high-performance player development, leveraging world-class coaching expertise from figures such as Gary Kirsten and Kiran More.
The alliance establishes a two-way pathway for emerging talent. European players will have the opportunity to train and compete in Bangladesh, while promising Bangladeshi cricketers will gain exposure to European cricket circuits.
“This partnership aligns perfectly with our vision of nurturing global cricket talent and elevating Bangladesh’s presence in international cricket,” said a Dhaka Capitals spokesperson.
By bridging talent across continents, Dhaka Capitals and Anchor Sports aim to strengthen the cricketing ecosystem while providing invaluable opportunities for players on both sides.
