The franchise, which drew huge attention during its debut campaign last year, is now looking to strengthen its squad and make a more competitive statement on the field.
According to reports, initial discussions with Taskin have already taken place and if everything goes as planned, he will represent Dhaka in the upcoming season.
Taskin played for Durbar Rajshahi last season and even captained in a few matches, but that franchise will not participate this time, allowing Dhaka to complete the signing.
The 12th BPL will begin on December 19, with the players’ draft scheduled to be held later this month.
