The announcement comes following the completion of the franchise registration and evaluation process conducted by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
In a statement released today, the Governing Council said that five franchises have successfully met the required criteria and have been approved to take part in the upcoming tournament.
The confirmation marks a key step in the preparation phase for the new season.
