Shakib Al Hasan to play for Montreal Tigers
A brand-new franchise T10 tournament, the Canada Super Sixty League, is set to kick off on October 8. The six-team competition will feature several international stars, including Bangladesh’s ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who will represent the Montreal Tigers.

The organizers have already announced the squads for all participating teams.

Alongside Shakib, the tournament will showcase global names such as Quinton de Kock, Martin Guptill, Moeen Ali, Dawid Malan, Sikandar Raza, Piyush Chawla, and Rahmanullah Gurbaz.
Shakib is no stranger to Canadian franchise cricket. He previously played for the Montreal Tigers in the Global T20 League, and will once again don their colors in this newly launched competition.

His teammates this time include Josh Brown, Nick Hobson, Tom Moores, Isuru Udana, and Andrew Tye, among other familiar faces.
Currently, Shakib is featuring in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) for the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons. Over the years, he has also appeared in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and several other franchise tournaments around the world. He is also expected to play in the United States’ Minor League Cricket later this year.
The Bangladesh star has been away from international duty for quite some time. His last appearance for the national team came during the Test series against India, after which he has not played any international match.
