“Shamsi is our main bowler. Ifti [Iftekhar] bhai bowled really well. Khaled Ahmed and Omarzai also bowled really well in the end,” he said, pointing to the teamwork that helped Rangpur defend the modest total.


The final stages of the match were particularly intense, with Rangpur's bowlers holding their nerve as Hobart came dangerously close to snatching victory. Sohan revealed the tactical discussions that took place in those final overs, which helped them hold off the chase.


“Me, Omarzai and Ifti bhai discussed a lot. I think it’s hard to hit the ball if you bowl a little bit slower,” he explained, referring to the strategy of varying pace to keep the batters guessing.
