DC sign Afghanistan’s Atal as Brook’s replacement

Atal, 23, has never played in the IPL before but brings T20 experience, having played 49 matches with a strike rate of 131.
He was part of the SA20 league as well, representing MI Cape Town in three matches. Notably, he scored 74 off 46 balls as an opener against Pretoria Capitals in one of those games.

Internationally, Atal has represented Afghanistan in nine T20 Internationals, nine One-Day Internationals, and one Test match.
