Brevis, known for his explosive batting, has featured in 81 T20 matches, amassing 1,787 runs with a highest individual score of 162. He made his T20 International debut for South Africa in 2023 and has represented the national side in two T20Is so far.
Previously part of the Mumbai Indians (MI) setup, Brevis appeared in 10 IPL matches during his stint with the franchise. The 21-year-old will now don the CSK jersey, joining the squad for a fee of INR 2.2 crore.
The signing adds firepower to CSK’s middle order, as they look to strengthen their squad for the rest of the season.
