Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das' maiden Pakistan Super League (PSL) campaign ended prematurely as he sustained a finger injury before making his debut for Karachi Kings. Litton is set to return home today after picking up the injury during a practice session.

"I was truly excited to play in the PSL for Karachi Kings, but the Almighty had other plans. During a practice session, I picked up a finger injury. Scans revealed a hairline fracture, and recovery will take at least 2 weeks," Litton wrote on his official Facebook page today. He suffered the injury in Karachi's practice session on Thursday.

Both Liton and leg-spinner Rishad Hossain had been granted No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to participate in the entire PSL season, which began yesterday and will continue until May 18. Rishad, however, did not feature for Lahore Qalandars in their eight-wicket loss to defending champions Islamabad United in Rawalpindi.
Meanwhile, Karachi were set to begin their campaign against Multan Sultans at the National Stadium in Karachi later today at 9:00 PM Bangladesh time.
