No Bangladeshi players picked in The Hundred draft
The player draft for the upcoming season of The Hundred saw several global stars securing contracts, including Rachin Ravindra, Noor Ahmad, Heinrich Klaasen, David Warner, Trent Boult, and Kane Williamson. However, despite 29 Bangladeshi cricketers registering for the draft, none were picked by the franchises.

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan entered the draft with a base price of £120,000, the highest among Bangladeshi players.

However, he failed to attract any bids, much like in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Pakistan Super League (PSL) earlier this year. Shakib, who has been out of favor in Bangladesh cricket recently, is also unable to return home due to the country's political situation and has been absent from the national team.
Leg-spinner Rishad Hossain, who was picked in the PSL, had a base price of £63,000 but went unselected in The Hundred.

Three Bangladeshi players—Litton Das, Towhid Hridoy, and Sheikh Mehdi Hasan—were listed with a base price of £52,000 but found no takers.

Meanwhile, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Nahid Rana, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Shoriful Islam had a £41,500 base price, while 20 other Bangladeshi players entered the draft without a set base price.
The list included names like Nasum Ahmed, Aliss Al Islam, Ebadot Hossain, Afif Hossain, Soumya Sarkar, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, and Mohammad Saifuddin.
