Everyone does everything to earn a living; cricketers are no different. While there is no doubt that they take pride in representing their respective teams, money is also an incentive for them to do what they do.
The Dhaka Premier League is biggest cricket competition based in Dhaka. The tournament commences from this month as 12 teams are participating with 12 icon cricketers enlisted with each team. Playing in the Dhaka Premier League as icons will also greatly benefit them from a financial standpoint.
Indeed, the distribution among the 12 icons has remained relatively
the same as the previous years. While the top 5 seniors of the Bangladesh cricket team will get
35 lacs taka each, the other icons will get 25 lacs each for their contribution.
