4 Sep 25Alongside Tamim, senior cricketers Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah Riyad are also expected to feature in this season's NCL T20. According to Akram, Mushfiq has already reached out to Sylhet Division, indicating his interest in representing them.

“I’m hopeful all three of them (Tamim, Mahmudullah, and Mushfiq) will play. I’ve spoken to Tamim, and he will play. Mushfiq has most likely requested to play for Sylhet. I think he wants to play for Sylhet. I haven’t been told anything about Riyad — I mean, the selectors haven’t been informed. But most likely, he’ll play. He should play.”
