Bangladesh Cricket Board said that they are trying to bring Zimbabwe a month earlier than schedule for the home series comprising one Test and five Twenty20 internationals, slated in March.
BCB is trying to bring them in February instead of March as because Bangladesh Cricket Board will be busy hosting the Twenty20 series between Asia XI and World XI marking the birth centenary of country’s founding president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

BCB official said that e have been asked by the government to hold the matches from [March] 18 to 22 as the government has other ceremonies.
Bangladesh Cricket Board’s cricket operation chairman Akram Khan on Monday admitted that they are having discussion in this regard with the Zimbabwean counterpart.
‘’We are discussing it with the Zimbabwean Cricket Board and hopefully we can take decision in this regard soon,’’ said Akram Khan.
According to BCB sources Zimbabwe is expected to arrive on February 17.
