Hasan Ahmed, the physiotherapist of the Barishal Division team in the National Cricket League (NCL), has passed away after suffering a heart attack. In his memory, Bangladesh’s national team will wear black armbands during today’s first T20I against the West Indies in Chattogram.

The incident occurred this morning at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna during the third day of the NCL match between Khulna and Barishal.

Hasan suffered a heart attack on the field and was rushed to the hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. He was 47.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has expressed deep sorrow at his passing. In a statement, the board announced that the national team will pay tribute to Hasan by wearing black armbands and observing a minute’s silence before the start of today’s match in Chattogram.
