In a powerful gesture of compassion and national solidarity, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced that all ticket proceeds from today’s third and final T20 International between Bangladesh and Pakistan will be donated to support victims of two recent national tragedies.

The highly anticipated match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur will serve a greater purpose beyond cricket, as funds collected from ticket sales will be directed to humanitarian aid for the victims of the tragic air crash at Milestone School & College in Dhaka, as well as the July Shaheed Smrity Foundation, which supports the families of those martyred and injured in the July Revolution of 2024.

The BCB is humbled to contribute in a small way to the healing process for those who have suffered so deeply in these recent tragedies. Our thoughts remain with the families and loved ones of the victims.”
