Bangladesh have already sealed the three-match T20I series against Pakistan with two commanding wins and now stand on the brink of a clean sweep.

The third and final match, scheduled for Thursday at 6:00 PM (BST) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, presents the Tigers with an opportunity to etch their name in history with multiple milestones in sight.
Litton: Wicket was good, but we failed with the bat

Led by Litton Das, Bangladesh dominated the opening match with a 7-wicket victory and followed it up with a thrilling 8-run win in the second match, which went down to the final over. Riding high on confidence, the hosts are now focused on completing a rare 3-0 series whitewash.
Records within reach for Bangladesh:
Eyeing a record-equalling winning streak
A victory in the final match would see Bangladesh equal their longest winning streak in T20Is. The current record stands at five consecutive wins, achieved in March 2023 when they swept England (3-0) at home and followed up with two wins against Ireland.

The team is presently on a four-match streak, having beaten Sri Lanka twice away before the current series against Pakistan.

Milestone for Rishad Hossain
Leg-spinner Rishad Hossain is on the cusp of a personal milestone. With 48 wickets in 40 matches, he needs just two more to become the sixth Bangladeshi bowler to reach 50 T20I wickets.
Fourth 3-0 T20I whitewash on the cards
Bangladesh have previously achieved three T20I series whitewashes (3-0) — against Ireland (2012), England (2023), and West Indies (2024). A win on Thursday would mark their fourth such achievement in three-match T20I series.
In addition, they have completed three 2-0 series wins against Zimbabwe, UAE, and Afghanistan in shorter bilateral formats.
