Following the tragic plane crash at Milestone School & College in Uttara, the Bangladesh government declared July 22 a day of national mourning.

In solidarity, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) observed the occasion with several gestures during the second T20I against Pakistan.

During the post-match presentation, Litton expressed the team’s heartfelt condolences:

“What happened yesterday in Bangladesh was extremely tragic and heartbreaking. We want to dedicate this win to those who were affected by the incident and to the lives that were lost,” he said.
