Former Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal praised the national team’s recent performances and highlighted the significance of a potential T20 series win against Pakistan.

Speaking during the second match, Tamim emphasized the momentum the Tigers are building in white-ball cricket.

“Without thinking too far ahead [Whitewash]—if we can win the series today, it would mean back-to-back series victories against two strong sides. Winning against Sri Lanka on their home turf was already a big achievement. If we can win here as well, that too would be a major accomplishment,” said Tamim.

His remarks reflect the growing confidence within the Bangladesh camp, especially following their historic series win in Sri Lanka earlier this year.

A series win over Pakistan at home would not only boost morale but also mark a significant chapter in Bangladesh's T20I journey.
