Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mominul Haque stitched together an unbroken 52-run stand to guide Bangladesh to 84 for 2 at Lunch on Day 1 of the first Test against Zimbabwe at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

Both openers—Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Shadman Islam—fell early after cautiously seeing off the new ball under overcast skies.
