“I returned to the country the same night the ACC conducted their operation at the BCB premises. It seemed to me that they came based on a specific complaint. As a board, we have decided to fully cooperate with them. I have instructed the CEO to provide all necessary documents and extend complete support. He has already started working on that.” Faruque said.
When asked about the nature or scope of the ACC's investigation, the BCB President refrained from making definitive comments.

“I’ve directed that any information or documents requested by the investigators be handed over without delay. As for how far the investigation has progressed or how long it might continue, I can’t say at this point. We don’t yet know what may come out of it, but we believe the investigation should continue,” Faruque added.
