At the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Rupganj handed Mohammedan a crushing 9-wicket defeat. Depleted of key players due to national team commitments, Mohammedan struggled from the start, regularly losing wickets after opting to bat first.

They reached 117 for 7 before rain reduced the game to 22 overs. In the revised chase, Rupganj easily reached the target on the back of dominant batting by Saif Hassan and Soumya Sarkar.

Mohammedan openers Towfiq Khan Tushar and Anisul Islam Imon made a steady start with a 27-run partnership before Tushar fell for 18.

However, the rest of the lineup failed to contribute significantly. Rain interrupted the match in the 30th over, ending Mohammedan's innings at 117 for 7.

With a revised target of 93 in 22 overs, Rupganj lost Tanzid Hasan Tamim early, dismissed by Nasum Ahmed for a duck.

But Saif and Soumya ensured there were no further hiccups. Saif blasted 55* off 44 balls, including six fours and three sixes, while Soumya added an unbeaten 36 off 33 with four boundaries. The duo chased down the target in just 13.2 overs.
