Facing Shinepukur Cricket Club in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) at BKSP on Sunday, Parvez blasted 61 runs off just 23 balls, including 4 fours and 6 sixes. Abahani Limited cruised to an emphatic 10-wicket victory, chasing down the target in just 6.4 overs after bundling Shinepukur out for 88 runs.
Emon reached his fifty off just 15 balls, breaking the previous fastest fifty record in Bangladesh’s List A cricket.

The earlier record — a fifty off 18 balls — was jointly held by Farhad Reza and Habibur Rahman. Farhad had set the mark in the 2019 DPL, while Habibur matched it four years later during the Bangladesh Cricket League's List A format.

In fact, across all recognized formats, Parvez's effort surpasses the previous fastest fifty set by Shuvagata Hom, who had scored a fifty off 16 balls in a T20 match during the 2019 DPL, also against Shinepukur.
With this, Abahani secured their eighth win in nine matches, maintaining their position at the top of the points table. Shinepukur, meanwhile, remains at the bottom with just one win from nine games.
