In the match held at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Abahani’s Mosaddek Hossain Saikat and Rakibul Hasan also played crucial roles, claiming two wickets each.
The first breakthrough for Abahani came from Anamul Haque, who dismissed Rabiul Islam Rabi for just three runs. The only resistance from Partex came through a 55-run partnership between Joyraj Sheikh and Sabbir Rahman Roman.
Rakibul Hasan broke the partnership by removing Sabbir, who scored 23 off 44 balls, caught behind the wicket.

Mahfuzur then started his dominance, dismissing Rubel Mia for just one run and then sending back Joyraj for 36 off 59 balls. Mosaddek followed up by taking two wickets—bowling Jawad Roen (1) and getting Ahrar Ain Piyan (5) caught at long-on.
Mahfuzur’s heroics continued as he dismissed Alauddin Babu without allowing him to open his account. In the 31st over, he cleaned up Tanvir Hossain and Mohor Sheikh to complete his five-wicket haul.
Rakibul wrapped up the innings by dismissing Naeem Islam Jr., restricting Partex to 100 in 33.1 overs. The team lost their last eight wickets for just 45 runs after being 65/2.
Chasing a modest target, Abahani suffered an early setback, losing two wickets for 21 runs. Jishan Alam fell for six, trapped LBW, while Mominul Haque managed just two runs before getting dismissed by Tanvir Hossain.
However, Emon and Mosaddek steadied the innings with an unbeaten 80-run partnership. Emon remained not out on 55 off 50 balls, hitting six fours and three sixes, while skipper Mosaddek played a quickfire 37* off 27 balls with three fours and two sixes, sealing an easy win for Abahani.
