Tanzid Hasan Tamim played an unbeaten knock of 35 off 20 balls, smashing four boundaries and a six. His opening partner, Saif Hasan, remained not out on 39 off 37 balls, hitting three fours and two sixes. Despite deploying four different bowlers, Shinepukur failed to trouble the Rupganj openers.
Earlier, Shinepukur Cricket Club struggled against Rupganj’s formidable bowling attack, getting bowled out for a mere 69 runs in 25.5 overs. Rejaur Rahman Raja and Tanvir Islam were the chief destroyers, picking up three wickets each, while Sheikh Mehedi Hasan claimed two scalps.
Moinul Islam Tanmoy was the top scorer for Shinepukur with 18 runs before falling to Mehedi in the ninth over, caught at mid-wicket. His opening partner, Nion Zaman, contributed 14 runs before being dismissed by Tanvir. Anik Sarkar (2) also fell victim to Mehedi, caught at deep mid-wicket.
