Imad: Losing to Bangladesh and USA are the lowest points for Pakistan cricket

Veteran all-rounder Imad Wasim rued over the Pakistan cricket team’s recent defeat to Bangladesh in a home Test series, which were part of the ICC World Test Championship.
Imad stated the surrender against the USA in the T20 World Cup that led to Pakistan’s elimination from the tournament and the recent humiliation against the Tigers was the lowest point in T20 cricket.
The Tigers scripted history by clinching their maiden Test series against Pakistan in away condition for the first time after 12 straight defeats in the format.
“Losing to Bangladesh… It was disappointing and when we lost against the USA in the T20 World Cup, it was disappointing. Although, I did not get to play as I was injured. We have been playing T20 cricket for 15 years and then that was the lowest point in T20’s and in Test cricket as well. Losing against Bangladesh in your home conditions is a tough pill to swallow. I watched the highlights and there were not many good things,” said Imad.
Imad slammed the poor decision made by the captain and team management during the match, adding such mistakes can’t be tolerated in national team.
“There are pretty things you can say, like the management and the captain when they said to have misread the pitch and stuff like that. That should not happen in national cricket and you should be ready for all the circumstances like it might spin or be flat and weather is not in your control. I don’t want to be behind the push. But we did not play well in both the Test matches so it’s a alarming sign. It was disappointing,” he added
