Pathirana, Madushanka ruled out of India ODIs

Sri Lanka pace duo Matheesha Pathirana and Dilshan Madushanka have been ruled out of the upcoming three-match ODI series against India, starting August 2.
Pathirana suffered a shoulder injury while Madushanka has hurt his hamstring that ruled them out of the 50-over game.
The hosts will also be without the services of Dushmantha Chameera and Nuwan Thushara, who are sidelined due to illness and a fractured thumb.
Sri Lanka have added uncapped right-arm seamers Mohamed Shiraz and Eshan Malinga to the squad, with three players on standby: batter Kusal Perera, seamer Pramod Madushan, and spinner Jeffrey Vandersay.
"Matheesha has jarred his shoulder, and because it is the same issue that he had during the World Cup last year, they have chosen not to risk it," team manager Halangoda said.
