Dambulla Thunders signed a number of cricketers ahead of the 'Player Auction' for the upcoming Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2024 cricket tournament will be held tomorrow in Colombo.

The list of retained and pre-signed cricketers were revealed today players like Dilshan Madushanka, Nuwan Thushara, Dushan Hemantha, Pravin Jayawikrama, Ibrahim Zadran were named along with Mustafizur.

Dambulla Thunders have roped in Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman as their icon cricketer. His countrymen Taskin Ahmed, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim will go under the hammer in the player auction.

As per Sri Lanka Cricket, about 420 cricketers will be presented for the 'Player Auction', with 154 from Sri Lanka and 266 from overseas.
